Excerpts from presentation

Competition
- Every athlete has the will to win, but for
the most part they do not know how to compete.
- Sports psychologists help define your roadblocks
and help you define and use the tools to succeed.
Athletic Success
- It takes more than talent and skill to succeed
in sports. Attitude is the primary force
that will determine success or failure.
Enlightened Warrior
- A warrior is an athlete who battles adversity
and thrives in competitive situations.
- The mind establishes how the body will act
in competitive situations.
- An enlightened warrior commits to a systematic
program of getting their minds to work for
them.
- The mind and body are connected with your
thoughts and visualization impacting emotions
and performance
- Athletes need to be intense without being
tense.
- Peak performance only occurs with a one pointed
focus and eliminating distractions beyond control.
