Winter Player Development

The ADI Winter Skills Program is designed to improve skills and understanding of game strategy to help serious players advance to the next level.
Participation Options
Option #1 Skills Only 6 weeks–Thursday 8pm – 9pm (Jan
28, Feb 4, 11, 18, 25, Mar 4) Limited to 10 players (U13-U18) for improved instruction, attention
and development Cost - $295
Option #2 Skills plus Speed or Power 2 sessions per week
6 weeks skills – Thursday 8pm – 9pm (Jan
28, Feb 4, 11, 18, 25, Mar 4)
plus 6 weeks choice of one speed
or power session per week (flexible schedule) Cost - $480
Improve Skills: Drills will focus on proper execution of
the basic Soccer skills including footwork, passing and first touch
. Gain an Advantage: Athletes will learn and develop technical,
tactical, physical and mental abilities in each session while improving technical
skills, tactical speed of play, and foot speed/agility. Gain Confidence: Proper instruction and repetition of skill
performance in a small group setting will improve each player’s confidence
both on the ball and in situations taking on opponents.
Fitness Assessment: All athletes will receive a comprehensive
fitness assessment to serve as baseline for the ADI training.
Elevate Fitness: ADI Power and Speed training is focused
on improving core strength and preparing the nervous system to operate efficiently
through the movements specific to Soccer.
Avoid Injuries: Strengthening the core muscle groups and
the rotary muscles used performing Soccer skills will improve performance
and help to avoid the most prevalent overuse injuries.
College Positioning: All participants in ADI Winter Soccer
Skills program will receive a complimentary session on College
Positioning for High School Student Athletes.
